All you do is log into your website, and you can edit to your heart's content. We provide 1 to 1 training for this easy to use CMS so you will feel comfortable editing and updating your website.

Squarespace have introduced a neat mobile app for editing your website, so wethers it’s changing text, uploading images, embedding videos or blogging this simple editing tool can be also be used on the go!

What are website analytics?

Website analytics is the measurement, collection, analysis, and reporting of web data to understand and optimise web usage. Website analytics is not just a process for measuring web traffic but can be used as a tool for business and market research and assess and improve website effectiveness.

Squarespace Analytics is a built in reporting platform, which is included in all of our websites, that gives you insight into how your site is performing. With Analytics, you can get a clear picture of your visitors and their behaviour through visual reports on statistics like page views, conversion, sales, referrers, and popular content.

If you have an online store, Analytics includes revenue, conversion, and cart abandonment data so you can track how your business is doing and identify opportunities for growth.

We can also integrate Google Analytics for a more detailed insight into your website performance statistics.

What is website hosting?

Website hosting is an internet service that allows individuals and organisations to make their website accessible on the web. Each website needs a place where all the files of that website live. All websites on the internet, need web hosting. We use Squarespace as our web hosting provider.

Safe and Secure

Squarespace is a 'cloud' service, so you don't need to download or install any software, and you don't need to buy separate web hosting. You pay a subscription fee to Squarespace, and that covers your hosting as well as your access to the content management system, and you can rest assured that the Squarespace team will run regular maintenance and upgrades for you behind the scenes, without you needing to do anything. The good news is that a Squarespace subscription costs about the same as regular web hosting.

SSL Certificate Included

All Squarespace websites come with free 2048-bit SSL certificates, which are created and renewed for you automatically. SSL secures visitors' connections to your site and improves your ranking in Google search results. SSL certs are critical for e-commerce websites security so your customers can but products or services on your website with peace of mind.

Subscription Fees

Squarespace subscription fees start at €200 per year which is paid directly to Squarespace. Your Website Hosting, SSL Certificate and Content Management System are all included in this fee.

Can Get Going Design purchase a domain name for my website?

Yes. We can purchase a domain name for your website. Domain names generally cost €30 per year.

Can Get Going Design set up email accounts for my company?

Yes. We can set up multiple email addresses and host them for you on secure servers. Email account installation, set up and email hosting costs €100 per year.

Do Get Going Design offer training & support after my website is live?

Yes, we offer 1 to 1 training with simple step by step instructions on editing and updating your website with Squarespace’s easy to use content management system.

Once a website is built, it will still require some TLC as your business moves forward. This can include content updates, design tweaks, and additions to its functionality. Whatever it may be, we’re here to train you in the fundamentals of your content management system so that you can edit content, while we take care of the other more difficult bits. Our job isn’t done until you feel confident in navigating your new or updated website, which is why we offer comprehensive training, as well as support packages that you can dip into should an issue arise.

Squarespace offers 24/7 support, should you need it... and we are also available to help if you get stuck.

Do you offer website maintenance?

Yes. We offer monthly website maintenance support packages so we take care of your website while you concentrate on the nitty gritty of your day to day business tasks.
